Does anyone know how to enable SSL on POP3 email accounts on the P1?

Just push More>Advanced where you set up the email accounts and select ssl.
I set up my P1i with gmail using pop/smtp today. No problems there.

Can you please post how you setup your gmail? I know I have the right settings but it doesnt seem to work, AOL mail is working fine and but gmail is giving me headache. BTW im using Tmobile Web.

humblehyper... have you tried if Gmail's app for the P-series works on the P1? It's great on my P910, dunno if Google made an updated version already. But you should give it a try if you haven't.

I just tried it now, and I have the same error but like you said the message went through just fine. Wonder what's wrong....hmmmmm

after 9 months of use(m600i) just started to get secure session failed when sending..and never changed my settings! its a bummer cause say you send a message then swith apps and you eventually want to close all apps you must go back into email and press continue. mabie a gmail prob? ive tried swithing my settings to none instead of ssl and still the same, message goes through but get sesson failed???
