I got a Cassiopeia E200 (with service pack 2.0) and T68i, both works fine with their own bluetooth and IR port.
Here is my question:
When I try to use my e200 to connect internet through T68i modem, it's always been interrupted after few seconds. I can't have it done by either bluetooth nor IR, so i think it's T68i's modem's problem.
When i start to conncet it, pocket pc shows "Dialing 28181856", and the T68i shows "Calling 28181856", but the progress bar only runs 1/5 then disappeared, and it runs the second time, it runs 2/3 of the whole bar then disappeared. Both of them only last 1-2 seconds. After that, my E200 shows "There is no answer at the number dailed...".
I don't think the modem actually dialed. So, what's happened?
Anyone can tell me how to solve this problem? I will be very grateful.

Thanks a lot!

I don't know the number formats for HK, You might need to set the country and area codes

Try getting it to dial your home phone number (for example) and answer the phone when it rings. That should prove/disprove that it is making the call properly.

If it does connect check that you are using the right modem number for your ISP, if it doesn't then check with your mobile service provider to make sure you have data enabled on your connection

Thanks a lot, actually, I tried my home number, doesn't work either.
So, it sounds i really need a data connection for my T68i?
Can't i just use it as a analog modem?

You need to subscribe to your operator's fax and data service. Have you done that?

Is that necessary? because i've tried to connect internet through T39's IR before, it worked, and i never got a data connection.
And to have a data connection here is quite expensive :~~~~~~~~~~~
