> Locked K800i?
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I have bought a K800i off ebay and when I put my 02 sim card in it says inactive sim card, when I tried my friends T-mobile sim card it doesnt say inactive but i still cant send text or make calls. Is there anyway I can see what network its unlocked to if any?
Many thanks
Dan

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, on the main menu its the normal globe to go onto the internet and I cant see any other branding anywhere on it?
Any other ideas? Do all networks block phones?
Cheers,
Dan

It`s not blocked.it`s locked to t mobile which means only a t mobile and virgin sim can work in it.If you want it unlocked, contact the person you bought it of and ask them to get the unlock code.Price is £15.If they don`t,you can always ring up t mobile and ask them for it.

But you've put your friends T-Mobile simcard in it and you couldn't call ? Isn't it blocked then ?
Don't have experience with this (hope I never will have

).

If the phone accepts the T-Mobile sim but wont make calls then the phone is blocked. That means it has been reported as stolen or lost.
Blocked phones show "inactive sim" for o2 and wont make calls for T-Mobile sims.
Get in contact with the person who you purchased the phone from and insist on a full refund.
