> Orange upgrade due: What SE handset to choose?

I'm now out of my contract with Orange online and due for an upgrade which i considering re-new and to stay on another 18 months or possibly 24 months contract.
I have a W800i which i love to bits and don't really feel like parting from =| I am used to the phones specifications and system and it has not given me any major problems since i had it for 18 months hence why i would like to stay with Sony Ericsson.
But now I’m in the dilemma in which handset to choose =| so need your help to shed some light in which phone would be best to choose from.
I have a choice of the following handsets:
Sony Ericsson K810i
Sony Ericsson W880i
Sony Ericsson W850i
Sony Ericsson K800i
Sony Ericsson W610i silver
Sony Ericsson M600i
Sony Ericsson W950i
Sony Ericsson W660i black
The prices can range from free to £199.00 but so far i have been offered by Orange online a K800i on Dolphin Enhanced 18 months contract, which was free on upgrade. I also need to check the other handsets to see if they are free or have a upgrade fee on them.
I went to the Orange shop today to find out more about the handset and spoke to an Orange advisor. He checked my upgrade status and told me i was a "band 4" out of Bands 1 –5 (1 being the lowest and 5 the highest scale) of how I spent on my contact and both the K800i and K810i where free on upgrade. He recommended the K810i.
I'm open to comments and suggestions about these handsets, e.g. features, hardware/software problems, how user friendly it is etc from those people who had them or currently own them.
I’m not upgrading just yet as would like to do some research on which Orange tariffs and type and phone to choose from before I go ahead but hopefully it will be by the end of August so need to get as much information I can!

Well if you are completely satisfied with your W800i the logical step would be the W660i. A no gimmicks, a straighforward candybar.
The cam might not be as good but its still decent from the pictures I have seen so far and the specs have been much improved.

if you can i would go for the k810i or w880i depending whether a walkman or camera matters most(didnt read whole thread) or if your after something else why not get the most expensive phone you can free then sell it and buy the one you want making a profit?

I made a mistake (sort of) when getting mine, had the choice of a W880 or K810, I chose the W880, but the K810 has no real music advantages over the W880, expect it has a better loud speaker, and it has a far superior camera. The only thing is is if you want a slim phone, then i'd say the W880, but otherwise a K810, its the only other phone i'd change my 880 for.

Camera quality is a notch up on my w810i not by a million miles but you can see the differences. Media player on k810i is identical to the Walkman player in w810i in all but name. Plus the k810i has option to widen the stereo sound in the media player and has no megabass. Apart from those i would say with a emphatic yes to getting k810i.
But you can always wait for 2 months (give or take a few weeks) and get the k850 when that comes out or w960i.

Well i can tell you i don't really used the Walkman part of my W800i much and sometimes use the camera, so basically it was just a phone i really needed to make calls, text sometimes mms and use the WAP/check my e-mails on.
I prefer the more "block" type phones rather then the small and slim ones as i know and can feel it being there. To be honest i'm not fussed about the looks of the phone but more focusing on specifications which i can see that most of these newer ones have more or more advance then my W800i. I would like to have very similar to my W800i regarding in specifications, being a block type phone and the keypad is easy to use to text on as well.
I was told in the Orange shop that the W880 wasn't that of a popular phone due to one reason the keypad being so small and wasn't easy to text on, but the advantage of it was it being small and slim. Some people to tend to go on the looks of the phone while others go for the specifications.

I phoned Orange to find out about the K810i on upgrade and i was told it was free but it is currently out of stock! The advisor has taken my details through and will contact me to let me know when it comes back in stock.
I'm still doing research into the handsets but here is the order of prefence so far (through it may change!)
K810i
K850i
K800i
W6660i black
W880i
W610i silver
W950i
M600i

It seems it's edging more to the K810i now since going back to the Orange shop and looking and feeling it again.
I still would like to see functioning on a "live" phone. I have fiddled around with a K800i which i was told was very similar to the K810i in features and software but just a slighly different desgin and it looks good so far.
Also issue of the camera cover lens on the K800i that it seemed to easily sliding while the phone in the pocket came was meantioned by the Orange Advisor but it has been improved in the K810i.
