Okay...R6E28 only introduced minor bugfixes, and DID NOT provide everything the phone were advertised to have.

Is there anymore hope for another Rxxxx for P990? Or is it game over?

I think its over, they only released the lastest one due to consumers complaining....they will argue (correctly/incorrectly depending where you stand) that they now need to focus on the next generations of P-Series....

M600 users don't get a new version at all which seems a bit off in my opinion (spelling).

Oh well...

I think the game is over too.
They released the FW exactlly on the very beginning of August to get rid of the big customer complaints.
It was done for sure with a very small team on their side (I mean the fixes in the new FW) which is a clear sign that that was it for P990/M600/W950.

Just get a P1i - and you will get another full year of amazing firmware updates, bug fixes and bug introducements

However, since it seems that the P1 has the same FW as the P990, it would only be right to also give future P1 fws to P990s!

The P1 got the update as we did yesterday. So why not getting future P1 updates for the P990 too!?!

Just a thought... and a demand... and....

@Micheal

Just look at the start up Ram figure in the P1 approx 74mb from reports i have seen subtract that from the Ram installed leaves you 54mb used. Now take that figure away from the P990 installed Ram of 64mb and how can you possibly run a P990 with so little Ram on boot up just 10mb. That IMO is why they can't give you the P1 OS on a P990 as it just won't work.
