it's months that everybody wanted to have finally a perfect P990i. Get over it! this was never meant to be a perfect phone but just a sort of crappy prototype for UIQ 3!
SE won't invest any time and money in this thing since they announced and already released the new models.
so stop asking for new firmwares where they just released one to stop the cries of most users.
That's it. Game over...use it or lose it!

As usual the SE faithful with their blinkered vision just can't handle the truth which points has Wabre made that are not true? If you really think any different you really are seriously deluded and are in desperate need of a reality check. You need to accept how SE have treated you all once they got your money and IMO any that paid for a premium product that has failed to be deliver is perfectly in order to complain. The only reason SE treat you and get away with this behaviour is you all allow them to so really most of you get exactly what you deserve IMHO and will continue to do so.

There are plenty of these ugly threads all over Esato and quite frankly a lot of people are sick and tired of seeing them.
I would of thought you had the sense by now not to exasperate situations like this but obviously you are quite intent on carrying on as usual, jumping in on any opportunity to take a side swipe at people who are quite happy with their phones.
Obvioiusly I was wrong, so just carry on regardless.

Yes the N80 did have problems but was realeased before these UIQ devices and guess what is still getting firmware upgrades that have constantly improved and minimised the problems. Nokia didn't turn round in under a Year and say no more support that required an outcry from users to even get one final Firmware notice the massive difference in the company's attitudes and no one is claiming any device is perfect. But as always what difference does what another manufacturer's actions have to do with what SE do as always it doesn't just stop trying to say how bad another company is and accept what SE have done as it is not made up it is fact and not defendable.

BUT...
Starting a fresh thread in a provocative manner is a, sorry, foolish behaviour and makes no sense at all!
Of course they will continue sharing their thoughts and experiences as well as their disappointments and anger.

Others have attacked him for stateing his opinion and >500 has tried to drag Nokia and N80 into the dicussion when they have nothing to do with what he has said.
Maybe it's time some of you learnt how to deal with the truth instaed of always defending SE irrespective of thier actions maybe then SE would actually learn and improve how they treat thier customers.
You may of noticed i have currently stopped posting in the Symbian SE threads as am fed up of the lies and accusations fom the deluded. But i am free to post my oipinons when ever i so choose and not you or anybody else has the right to tell me otherwise. If you can't handle the truth about your belovved SE tough luck as untill they change there ways the comments are unlikely to stop are they.
