hi, i have a k750i with a 4Gb memory stick duo. i have found that when i have stored more then aprox 2.3Gb mp3s on it, it will not playback or photos imported will not be displayed. however video recordings and photos taken using the K750i continue to be stored just fine. does anyone know how to get round this problem? thanks. (SEricsson say only 2Gb officially supported, so can't say why this is the case).

I think that 4Gb cards are supported and can be used in the K750i, but it runs very very slow when accessing files, probably when there's a lot of them as the phone isn't rated for accessing that volumn of files.
If you wait long enough, your files will eventually show up probably!

thanks. but it says cannot play this sound, when i try to play mp3 files that have been added after i already have lots on the card. the first lot of mp3 files play fine i.e. 1st 200 or so.

i guess it has sth to do not only with the size of the Memstick, but also with the bit rate of your mp3 files as well. I have a 1GB MS duo Pro. I used to have mostly 192kbps mp3s on my K750 and the playback often failed, or sometimes after resuming (after a phone call or pushing the play/pause button), there would be a few silences in the music before running smoothly. Also it was difficult to multi-task (eg. minimize the media player and do sth else like watching pics or writing sms).
Since about 1 year ago, i use mostly m4a files with 64kbps (imo sound quality is as good), and i get the double avantage of storing more and getting rid of playback problems.

all this info is interesting. mp4a would be something to look into, but i already have a lot of mp3s created.
someone said they had done it successfully with a sandisk card, mine is a sony (that should not make any difference, i think). i wonder how many files and folders he has on his card; the number of sub folders and if they are all in the sounds folder? what bit rate did he use?
