Could someone tell me a vpn client I can use to connect to a cisco network?
I am using the cisco vpn client on my computer, but I need something for my P1i.

My other alternative is connecting to another network using 802.1x authentication and WEP enterprise security (http://www.cubhis.org/getting_started/wireless.html). Can anybody guide me through the setting for the P1i? I have not been successful yet. Does the phone support 802.1x authentications?

Thanks a lot.

I'm having the same problem on my P1i. We're using 802.1x LEAP (enterprise WEP) over here, which I can't select. LEAP seems to be supported when using WPA, but not when using WEP.

Are you able to connect at all? If yes, how?

Certicom VPN client

Have not got round to trying it yet - seems to have lots of options though so you may be able to configure it for your VPN server.
I need to research how to get the CISCO VPN tokens on my mobile before I can try it.

I found the cisco donot support SE, so cisco vpn is not work for P1i!
Both the E61i and E61 are supported in cisco vpn!

But, if the AP used wap2, tkip and 802.1X, the 802.1X donot support again in P1i ?

VPN connection using the P1i is working fine !

If you configure Cisco EasyVPN at the Cisco endpoint you are most certainly able to use the Certicom VPN client provided by SE.

I myself , my collegues and customers of my company use the Certicom VPN client to connect to both Cisco PIX, Cisco ASA and Cisco 3005 VPN endpoints.
