hi! im kinda new here and am also a new user of p990i..
i've heard that the new firmware is out. is it already available already here in the philippines? by the way my CDA is: 162008/69 R5A01
also, im having problems with regards to my battery life.. ive already turned off the bluetooth and wi-fi, adjusted the brightness to 35%, cycled the battery already.. can you suggest any other things i should do to maximize my battery?
lastly, can i use the battery being use in P1 for my p990i?

yes, you can use P1 battery in p990i - it fits and gives additional energy. I will buy one when it will be commercially avaiable

The battery usually needs to be recharged 4-5 times in order to reach its maximum performance.
U may also disable 3G (which is on by default), if it isn't available in Ph. or if u don't use it. Make sure that your phone is not in flight mode and go to control panel - connections - mobile networks and tap the arrow next to mobile networks at the top > gsm/3g networks > gsm only.
