Anyone debranded their P1i yet? I know it's only O2 shipping them at the mo and the branding is not heavy but I noticed they have removed some of the themes and more importantly, the Internet and Email Wizards!

Mine originally got CDA162024/52 R4A (generic, no branding) and flashed to CDA162022/1 R6D22 generic world 1) using davinctiteam.com

I should Imagine the methods of debranding the P1i are the same as P990/M600/W950 through Kulankendi and even free via seus, but I don't know if it has been tried yet!?

The o2 branding aint that bad, cant you just get the themes? Hmmm it'll be interesting to debrand it tho.

Any problems via Davinci? How much did it cost?

20euro (20 credits)

No problems encountered. It was straight forward. To check, i have ran SEUS and 're-updated' my p1i and the CDA remained intact.

Read davinci forum as well, since there are 'horror' stories but was corrected by davinci's team in no time.

Use (davinci) at your own risk.

How did you do the re-update? If I run SEUS it tells me - there is no update available. There is NO "continue anyway" button. If I run an older version of SEUS - it updates itself to the newest version.

What SEUS did you use?

Thanks & many greetings

Mine's CDA162022/1 R6D22 Generic World 1 from the beginning.

Don't the SEUS-update routine work with the P1i?

I have used the Davinci client, and it has debranded my handset, BUT I have been left with 2 CDA strings on my handset, has yours got this?

How did you manage to re-update with SEUS, if you have the latest firmware it does not let you re flash

When i ran SEUS, there was the 'Continue anyway' tab, i just clicked and it started to download the software from SEUS and it re-installed on my p1i.
