well i have decided to take over my mums old t-mobile contract(mainly cos handily an upgrade is ready:D) and well i went in to ask about the upgrade...we sorted out a new tariff and he asked me to choose a phone...i sed k810i or w880i and he sed k810 should be fine...rang up and now i gotta w8 till 25th of august cos it was showing incorrectly as ready on there screens:(

was quite a disappointment as he sed i was ready to recieve a new toy there and then...but oh well hopefully will be able to get either k810i or w880i when i get back form holidays

Not exactly the worst treatment i have come across at least they realised before you finished your call and where expecting your new toy. I phoned Voda last Monday told to ring back Tuesday as that was when the E90 was due to be released so did order went through no problem and was told phone would be delivered Wednesday. It didn't arrive phoned and told to phone back Thursday and at that point told although the new account had been set up there were no E90's due now till middle of August now that got me seriously not happy. At least the people you were dealing with knew what they were doing and saying.

i guess. well got the n95 for now but i wanted k810i to tak eon my hols ...shame i gotta w8 till i come back

but im gonna go to CPW and try get an unloicked unbranded w580 or k810

what do you guys think i should get if both were free(not that i think they will be

) considering i have an n95 with good cam...i was thinking w580 as a fun phone but not too sure:S

Hi A3LX,

Unless you are planning to take lots of shots in very dark places i think your N95 with V12 firmware and the camera improvements made may well surprise you at how good a job it does. Is it also not smaller than a K810? both of the models you have named have been realeased a while personally i would wait for a newer device to use your upgrade on.

I know Nokia have an announcement on August 29th which should include the N81 & N82 and some one on this Forum has already confirmed T-Mobile will be having one if not both. One is much like your N95 but has a Xenon flash, the other is an 8GB Music Player both of course both are running S60 and should have the same processor and graphics chip as your N95.

I hate it when that happens. Everything is going perfect and you're expecting a nice, shiny handset and sure you're going to leave the store with a brand new phone, and then somethings goes wrong

The disappointment can be debilitating.

back from my holiday now and getting upgrade tomorrow hopefully(although would rather have stayed on holiday longer lmao) but im gonna check out CPW and see what they've got to offer
