When using the handsfree speaker on the phone, very often there is a raspy crackling when the person I'm talking with is talking. I've done all updates. I used the speaker with the radio on talk radio programs and no problem there. Not great quality, but no crackling. Sony Ericcson said that probably it's my cell phone network. It's not all the time, but about half the time. I went to a sony ericcson repair center and, for them, it was working OK. The problem is that this disturbing crackling is occuring about half the time, I guess depending on where I am and who I am talking to.
Any suggestions?

Maybe it is because of the network you're on.
I haven't experienced any crackling sounds while using the handsfree.

It sounds kind of like an electrical crackling. Not on every word that the speaker on the other end says, but at certain times during the conversation.
