Hello Everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone else has had time to play around with the video playback feature of the P1i. So far I've been able to get 3GP files playing with no problem, but MP4 files give me a headache. There doesn't seem to be a consistent set of requirements for making the MP4's work.
So far, the only one I've gotten to work was a MP4 conversion of a movie trailer from a DVD disc. The dimensions are 352 x 240 (larger then the P1i resolution), and the frame rate matches the original source (30+ fps). I've tried converting from other sources such as flv ripped from youtube or alredy encoded movie trailers. They all don't play in the P1i. I've tried encoding movies with different bit rate, frame rate, size, audio quality, combinations but they dont' seem to work.
Does anyone have an idea of how to make MP4's that will play, or is a direct conversion from a DVD the only way?
