I didn't know which section to put this in.
I don't know if anybody is looking for a contract but just doesn't want the hassle of a 12 month contract.
It's on T-Mobile. 35 a month and you get 180 pounds of credit. It has 8 months left.
What happened:
A friend of mine (ex-friend), asked me to get him a good deal, so I agreed. He was on vacation and asked if I could take out the contract for when he gets back in a few days. I said alright (being the trusting person that I am). So I give him the sim when he arrives and he assures me he'll move the contract to his name.
One month later, he leaves the UK with a freaking apology letter saying he didn't know how to face me since we were friends and he didn't need the contract anymore.
So I ended up paying for 4 months out of my own pocket.
So if there is anyone out there that wants a contract, please let me know! I leave the UK in three weeks to go to Doha to get a job.
Of course everyone knows me here on the forum for my reviews and for my sales.
However for those that don't please see the AtoZ or my ebay feedback (alias amnesiabuy)

You might want to be carefull the same thing doesnt happen again. Alternatively I know with Orange you could ask them to put the contract on hold for a max of 12 months so you might want to try that if you have no luck.
Good luck with the sale and also your job hunting all the best.

@koko, there is no phone, he's taken it.
The advantage of this is that you're getting a contract for 8 months rather than 12.
@themarques, thanks for that advice, I'll call and see if I can get it on hold for a while.
As for it happening again, sadly I'll have to be more carefull as you can never tell who a friend is.

Just to clarify, YOU give the SIM to whoever agrees to pay the remainder of the monthly fees relating to the account which relates to that SIM?.

of course.
It's in MY name and I have the sim.
After transferring everything over I'll send the sim card straight away.

Just been on the phone with T-Mobile.
They said it's very simple.
You just give me your name and address and I give it to them. They send a letter to you with a special number.
You call them up and give them your details and after a check, it's transfered to you then and there. ^_^
If there is anyone interested, please let me know
Might go to mweb, but I'm still seeing if anyone else is interested if it doesn't go through.

Just read they slashed their prices!
35 gives you 100 pounds now! But mine gives you 180!!
So that makes this contract so much more worth it now!
