I have to choose one of these today. Which and why?
Accessories is not an issue. I have free access to them. So equiping the K810 with a gps is not a problem.

Id say take the P1i,its newer, has Symbian, huge screen, 3.2mp camera, 160mb internal mem +512mb card or higher included, and it apparently works wel with TomTom, its just the better ALLROUND package

P1 is for business people
k810i is for ordinary people
P1 is very good
k810i is also very good
P1 cost more
k810i takes better pics. (ive seen P1 pics and they didnt have the same quality like k810i. not bad of course, but neither awesome)
P1 is a smartphone
k810i is a Cybershoot phone
-------------------------------------------------
so are you a business man or a ordinary man............thats the question !

I'm curious, what GPS software would you use on the K810?
Have you had a smartphone before? If not, you might be frustrated as it can be slower than a normal phone when switching screens (alot of new adopters find this annoying). The P1 doesn't have a joystick and it can take some time to get use to the new navigation controls (touchscreen and jogdial). If these are fine with, I would go for the P1 as you can do so much with it and much more easily than on a K810 for example.
However if you are into photography, a K810 would better suit your needs because at the moment the P1's camera is not all that I hoped it would be. it is said to be the same as the K800 without the Xenon flash. Maybe it will improved as new firmware are released.
My personal choice: P1
Cheers

Thanks for the input.
I have had the P900 but found it too bulky. I've had the W880 but found the camera totally useless. Size is an issue for me obviously. So is the camera. What functionality am I missing if I choose the K810?
Touchscreen does not enable me to do more with the phone, it's just a different way to operate it.
And as I said, included extras such as memory, cables etc is not a deciding factor at all.

These kinds of questions seem to pop up here regularly, and as always, there is no definite answer. It all depends upon how you intend to use the phone. Both models have their own features, some of them exist in both models, some other dont. P1i, for example has touchscreen, wlan and possibility to read some 'office' document types, and the Opera web browser while K810i has a joystick and a xenon flash. This makes the P1i in general for business puropses, while K810i is better for photography and gaming. If the price was not an issue, I think I would go for the P1 myself, but I'm not so sure, since I use my K800i quite much for gaming and photography.

P1 is a smartphone (it has an OS (SYMBIAN UIQ3.0)) which means you can increase its functionality kind of like a computer, whereas you cant do the same with a K810,and if you get the P1 and are patient, its camera quality mite get up to K810 quality in next few FW updates

The reason I'm asking is that for me it's a 50/50 situation. So basically I'm looking for arguments that I haven't thought of to sway me either way.
I'm well aware of the technical differences such as OS and connectivity.
I wish I could have a K850 with P1i PDA functionality in the W880 case. Too much to ask?...

Well as stated before, if you're going for a smart phone sure go ahead with the P1i, but personally I'd prefare the K810 right now.
