Right, the question is as above - I can't really find much info on the N82 yet though but think I will be conisdering one of the above phones.

Priorities to me include:

Ability to be used as primary mp3 player
Camera which will take good photos
Wifi
3G / possibly HDSPA but HDPSA isn't a must
A good MSN program avaliable for the phone
And finally a good battery life (not heard about this for the n82 yet - Hopefully better than other current Nokias)

edit: price will also be in consideration (but not the most important deciding factor)

I will pick N82. I think N82 has a lot of advantages.
Hardware: WIFI b/g, EDGE, HSPDA, 5M camera, xenon flash, 3.5 mm headphone jack (GPS, TV out).
Software: almost double of Uiq3 3rd party applications are available + free applications. In addition, s60 3rd has about 10 new applications every month; Uiq 3 only has one or two new applications every month.

nokia has got its many problems in terms of software and hardware.
very poor battery life and no touchscreen, making the gps useless

Unfortunately Nokia are blowing right out of the water at the minute!

Both companies make mistakes but IMHO Nokia are a lot quicker in both acknowledging and making good their mistakes!

I am still using my faithful P990 and I love it and never had any problems with it, but that will be replaced with the E90 until the P990's replacement is released and that too depends on whether it will be a worthy successor!

@bart

You keep on insisting you need a touch screen for GPS i have told you i have used Tom Tom on non touchscreen devices for over a year now with no problems. I also stated that Tom Tom running on a E61 is the best of them all so far.

We get for you a touchscreen is important fair enough but explain why you need it for GPS just this once instead of just repeating this claim again and again.

Can you also please stop repeating this other wild claim of your that is just not backed up by the facts all devices have issues but at least Nokia addresses them quickly and doesn't stop support within a year either unlike some we could mention. show me one SE smart phone that can touch an E61 for battery life or even my recently purchased E90. which took under an hour to set up and sync plus install all my apps and have E-Mail set and configured for scheduled retrieval and even when i had about 10 apps open i still had 66mb of Ram no buggy firmware here so far.

Marc

N82, man.
You can't go wrong with that.
although P1 is a cool phone is not even close to the N82 technology

well, imo its really hard to say yet, how n82 will be. reading specs and seeing pix are ok, but to have it at usage is the best test imo
