On the P910i, you could save SMS messages to the SIM, and transfer them back out to the phone. Can you do the same on the P1i? Is there an easier way to transfer saved SMS from one phone into the P1i?

You can certainly do the SMS -> SIM -> Inbox trick on the M600, I'd assume the P1 is the same.
I don't know of any other way of transferring messages, short of forwarding them, unless there's a way to get the P1 to accept another phone's backup (unlikely if it's from a P910).

Thanks! Oh well... old-tech/low-tech method...but at least it still works.
I really wish SE would've found a way to do content back-up/restore from ALL UIQ devices. Would make migration so much easier. I hate having to pass through Outlook...not all contact info is passed on.
