> Should I get the W580i
Bookmark topic
The grey version of this is now available under contract with O2 and it's within my budget (£20 a month for 18 months or £15 a month for 24 months).
I know Peter Kay's wife has got one, is it any good?
I currently have W810i and wouldn't want to get rid of that one and regret it later, as I do quite like it. But I really like the look of the W580i.

Just been on the comparison chart for both phones and it says that my current phone W810i doesn't have flight mode or Walkman?
Is the photo quality any good on the W580i?
Does the music player hiss?

Photo quality is worse than yor W810, it lacks Autofocus. But other than that, it has much more advantages: A2DP, screen resolution, size/form factor, Walkman 2.0, UI, ...
If you don't use much the camera go for it

What does UI mean?

UI = User Interface, I meant little improvements like 5 alarms, copy/paste function, separate video player, trackID, things like that ....
And aslo has a pedometer, so it can measure distance travelled. Useful if you're into sports but nothing breakthrough.

Whilst the camera on the 580 lacks Autofocus, I have to say that the picture quality is superb. The saturation and colour balance seems to have been tweaked up slightly and I think this is for the better.

You should. Is a thin slider with cool light effects, shake feature, Walkman Player 2.0, sport applications...

...and whilst not relevant to the OP as he is on a contract, I cannot believe how cheap this baby is on PAYG.
This sort of handset would have been £230+ normally so getting it for around £130 is the bargain of the century.
Once it has been out a while they will be giving them away....the only downside is that before too long everybody will have them.

I am on PAYG at the moment and cannot find this phone on PAYG, sim free it's over £200 which I can't afford all in one go.

As I mentioned in a previous thread (I'm sure you posted in it) get yourself to CPW. The handset is on Orange PAYG for £129.99 plus £10 credit applied...you will be given a totally generic sim free handset.
I did notice that Orange had it on PAYG in a retail shop today priced at £150 with a £10 credit applied. This looked branded and stuff though.
CPW FTW!!
