Ok i have a laptop with built in bluetooth. It syncs with my motorola v3i just fine. but I am having problem with my P990. My bluetooth hardware doesnt require any 3rd party/manufacturer software to setup devices, it uses built-in windows xp bluetooth software.
My laptop recognizes the p990 and adds it as a trusted device after installing the passkey code. but the SE Software never knows its connected.
So how do i make the p990 be able to sync/connect automatically when its in range/ or upon booting up my laptop? Any help be appreciated.

Bluetooth is not v2.0 its the prev. version (?) if that helps out a little.

It should work, even though your computer have Bluetooth 1.x... you might wanna try to find better bluetooth drivers to your computer, cause it's probably the drivers which are causing the problems.
