I posted last night about some issues I was having and managed to get those sorted with a bit of help on this forum. I've now got some more problems!

When typing a SMS, if I want to input a digit how do I do it? At the moment I'm clicking on the top of the screen and bringing the virtual keyboard up as there are digits on that. Unlike with Nokias I can't press and hold the keypad for a digit to come up. Is there a quicker way of doing this?

Now onto WLAN! On any laptop, PSP, or Nokia smartphone all that is required is that I type in my WEP key and I'm online. Not so the P1i! I've spent hours on this thing but still can't get online via WLAN. The phone recognises my network, I have created an account and it even says that I'm engaged, the WLAN icon stays lit at the top of the screen. However, I keep getting the "Unable to connect to local server" message when trying to access the web. This is really doing my head in and I'm stumped! I've tried turning powersave off etc and yes, my router is on b setting.

Any help much appreciated.

You can press the alt key once before pressing a numeric. If you press alt twice it locks like Caps lock on a keyboard. Useful for entering phonenumbers etc.

Havn't tried the wlan option yet så i cannot helt you with that.

I do get that from time to time on the wifi connection using the P1 browser. Ignore, tap on the screen to bring the menu and enter the address of the site you want tot go to. tap open and it should work. well it does for me.
Hope it helps.

Hi, thanks for the numbers thing! I'll post a separate thread about the wifi issue.
