> M600i Update failure and now won't start

I tried to update the firmware on my M600i using the official program from SE.
However I got an update failed error after at least 85% (wasn't watching after this)
I tried to start my phone but the only thing that happens is that the number keypad lights up. I have tried powering it from mains but this also doesn't work.
I have tried running the updater again which can identify the phone but says its now up-to-date.
Are there any ways to completely hard reset the phone to see if that helps?

I emailed SE and they have told me to send the phone to one of their service centres in England.
