P1i is short of camera lens cover. Is there any way to protect the lens from scratching?

SE normally puts some sort of protection device over their phone camera lens so it is interesting why they haven't for the P1. It seems to back up the idea that it is made of glass in which case it will be quite difficult to scratch so long as you exercise some care where you put the phone. Of course if you insist on putting it in with a pocket full of coins then you're asking for trouble but presumably that means you don't care anyway!
