Here in the Philippines, you can buy a W950i for around USD220 and this has been the price for the past 2 months now and I was wondering if its a good buy or should I wait for the W960i (which is one of the reasons that holds me back from buying the W950i)
Thanks guys of esato! (Btw i really like this site)

@chowchow
Hey Kabayan, just keep your money and wait for W960. W950 is yeah cheaper alot but won't you like to have P990 K800 and W950 in one?

The W950i is down to 189 euros at "The Phone House" in Madrid. Thatīs a tempting price considering the W960 will be three or four times more expensive when launched.
If you find a good price, I would advice you to get a W950i. You can get a W960 in a few months time when the launch price goes down and new firmware releases fix the initial launch bugs.
In the meantime you get a mature stable and reliable walkman phone.

if you dont want a camera, get the 950. W960 offers nothing over W950 other than a camera and a really lame Wifi.

hey chowchow im on the same fence as u r right now....
my bro in the PI told me that the w950 is going for about 11000 pesos there (its going for 650$ here :S )....but i decided to just wait a while....im using the k750 flashed to w800 now and i dont really need the extras of the w950 (1gb of music is fine with me)...so just see if the features and the lack of camera and wifi are ok with u then go for it...i heard its a really reliable phone

you cant beat that price for what your getting! what you must think about is do you need a camera and can you do with out wifi.personally i would go for the w950 and then in a few months get the w960 when the price drops to a reasonable rate.that way you have a nice back-up.if it has to be one or the other,just wait till 960 is out.imho.

If there is something I learned from owning 2 UIQ3 phones M600i and P990i, never buy a UIQ3 phone again. Save your money dude.
