Am I right in thinking this isn't a rocker key? It's one of the bottom row of flat keys. Why does it feel 'wrong' when pressing it straight on? Like pressing a rocker key in the middle - it clicks a bit and feels squishy. Should I be pressing the space button towards one side as well? As a secondary question, when selecting a number, one of the digits, this can be done by pressing the rocker either left or right - is this the correct method or should I be pressing the key in the middle (which doesn't feel to be doing the mechanism any favours)?

Strange I hadnt noticed that with the 0 key untill you mentioned it, technicaly it is not a rocker key ( to the best of my kniwldege). As for the number keys, i dont think there is a right or wrong way to use them, much like youself I tend to push either left or right as opposed to straight on.

So do you press the lower row of keys, including the space button, straight on or do you use the same routine as you do with the rocker keys?

The M600 keyboard was much better with a bigger space key. Now I press the wrong key all the time.

Can anyone confirm though whether their bottom row of buttons, especially the middle three, act like rockers? ie when you press them straight in the middle it doesn't feel to be doing the mechanism any good?

those three are not rockers and they feel fine when I press them on any part
and no, you don't need to try to press the middle for the numeric digits, left or right will do

technically the underneath of the key is same as others they have just flattened the top. you can press it how you like makes no odds but agreed it feels odd on all that bottom row.

Just wondering...
What's the plus sign (+) doing on the zero and space bar key?

the plus sign is for entering a phone number in the International format i.e +123456789 instead of the regular format: 00123456789. if you press and hold the key it while entering a number it'll enter the plus sign.

Slight correction.
The + is shorthand for any combination of digits required to access an international trunk. It doesn't have to be 00.
To be safe, always prefix international numbers with + before the country code. This will ensure that while roaming, you are still able to utilize idd.
