Ok so i took the keypad off, now that the spacebar is fixed and i have to stay, it makes it feel slimmer in my pocket, and having keypad off, i like how i dont have to switch back and forth between half/full screen mode.

if they can please fix the memory leak problem by releasing the symbian 9.2, this p990 be otherwise than be perfect!

Why don't you just install swiss manager, and that sorts any memory problems..

Unfortunatelly not true. SMpro is a great help, a must have app, but cant sort low memory problem, memory leak and at the end reduced multitasking capacity.

I wonder what everyone does with there p990 that cause so many problems?
In just short of a year ownership my phone has rebooted once with memory issues, i had alarm issues, but this was fixed with a master reset. My phone never crashes.. i kid you not! I manage to run it as a phone, web browser, VOIP and IM with fring, constantly as an MP3 player, a calender, email, along with daily use of spreadsheets, word docs and PDF. not to mention a camera.. I now run swiss manager, which closes all unused apps for me. So i wonder how these memory problems occur?
Constantly i hear of bugs, crashes and all sorts of P990 complaints, but honestly i have no idea what the problem is!
I'm not having a go at anyone, but my ownership has been what i consider flawless.
cheers Oz

how about using your p990i mainly for video playback? does it do the job ok? is it ok to play a whole movie? I just remembered that N73 that came bundled with The Godfather full movie in it, and if P990i could outperform N73 in video playback would be great.

@Oz-Sco
If anybody is extremely pleased with P990 i am, believe me on that. It is an amazing phone, a true all in one device. It has been giving me so much joy for the last 9 months. Phone is super stable, quite fast and reliabe. Every functionality works well.
But it is undeniable fact that memory issue is a real problem with the phone. What i want to say is that due to small ram amount and memory leak multitasking is highly reduced. I can run web, listen some music, check email and eventualy make a call using contacts at the same time. But even for that relatively small multitasking the phone should be manually restarted once in a few days. If not you can browse some heavy web pages and download some mp3 files while listening music and while doing that a message comes, you open it and sistem closes the opera and maybe even music player due to low ram so everything is lost. If that is not ram issue then |i dont know what is.
Not to speak about using other advanced application at the same time. So one have to use Smpro on regular basic to free memory but it doesnt help at all when it comes to multitaskingas you never know what app will be closed in the background when you try to use something else.
To conclude P990 is really good phone but not for users who demand great multitasking capacity because it is quite poor in that area. And now when I got used to all those fantastic features I realised that high multitasking is something I started to look for.

Same here @ deepu,i saw an N73 bundled with the movie THE DINVICI CODE it lookd so excellent almost better than the 109cm Plasma Sony Bravia tv i hav at home,im sure the P990, M600, W950 and P1i have similar quality to that,and their screens are bigger than N73s
