Push mail on my M600i works perfect one moment, then the globe disappears and it stops working and then I have to turn the phone off and on again. Today for example push mail was on and working. I made a phone call and when I hung up I noticed the globe was gone and I had to turn the phone off and on again to get push mail to activate again.
What's the deal with that?

I have to say the software for push email on UIQ is terrible especially SE phones, I use the same datavis roadysync version for the S60 platform and it works a charm. I had loads of issues with M600 and push email,
Try setting a lower heatbeat rate it might drain your battery but it will be more responsive.

Sorry for my newbness but how do I change the heartbeat rate to a lower one? All I see in email accounts is..."Always on Push Mail". Then when you click that you can set the time interval.

hey paul i know this 'aint the answer your looking for but since you have unlimited data on att why not set to pop3 and download every 10 or 15 min(this is what i do and never any probs),or just get bb if you have to have push?

I don't want to go back to BB and pay for BB connect. Push works fine about 95% of the time. Just once and awhile I get knocked off.

paul there should be an advance menu somewhere, I am not using it anymore but it will be there it called something intervel and its set to 10 if memory serves me right or 15, just change it to 5.

1 minute will drain your battery, personally its really the client I did try several times and could never sustain a constant lock.
Basically what happens is that the phone seems to have issues between switchin from 3g to 2,5 and so forth so when that happens in between syncin it causes some error its quite silly but yeah..I wouldn stress to much.
