Hi, im really sorry if this is in the wrong place, please forgive me
Im a little stuck, im on the final step of flashing my K510i with XS++ but there is an error when i get to flash block 220/327, a windows error pops up saying XS++ has encountered an error and needs to close.
The phone connects fine to XS++ but when it gets to 220/327, XS++ crashes.
I tried searching google but nothing came up and when i searched here i got an error about the server being busy.

that's when flashing the MAIN or the FS?
though you could try a different firmware

This is when flashing the main firmware with
K510_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_RED49.mbn

Could it be the .mbn file im using? Or the computer? I have another computer here i could try it on.

imo, the problem should be the mbn as i experienced the same while i was flashing a k310. it was getting stuck in the same block.

How big (megabytes wise) is the .mbn file ment to be?

if im not mistaken, the mbn is bigger than the fbn. you can get these files from topsony.com

Yep thats right, i think your right about the .mbn file being at fault, the file size should be about 20.4mb but when i download from the site provided i only got 13.7mb
The .fbn file is around 7mb
Thanks for the link i just signed up but i gotta post 20 times (fairly easy) and wait 1 month?! (whaaaat!!).
Or not be a tight butt and pay a few euros

Got the firmware and installed fine, phone works fine too, yay!
BUT! The phone is still the same, it has T-Mobile on it?! *baffled*.
I thought it was meant to un-brand the phone?
