Hi,
I want to try to update my m600 but I want to preserve the language packs on my phone. I have the language packs currently. When I first load up the SE update, what country should I choose? or does it matter?
thanks,

it only matters for the Seus when you upgrade, then you choose in your phone. totaly unrelated.

I think. When you update, your phone is pretty well much wiped clean, so all your language packs will be lost too, and you will have to reinstall, certainly I found that to be the case. Installing languages takes ages.

Hi,
If it's like other UIQ3, it depends on your CDA number.
Just after update, you have a lot of langage installed with your new FW. So you just select the langage you want, and after, all other langages (except english, always existing) will be erased (why needing so much time).
So, you just have to update and select the good one.
langage files are made when you don't use SEUS to update, and want another file than the one that are existing in your phone.
Clear ?

Yup, thanks.! I had problems of SEUS not finding a new fw for my m600 but I'll try again.
