Hi guys..

My P990i version is: R9GA001.

When i'm trying to do update through the software sonyErcisson provide.

I got the same update each time i do it "Gneric World 2". and it's keep installing it in my device each time.

What do you think is the problem. i tried to master reset and even formating the P990i but still the problem there

that's really strange. your phone (WG2) should be getting R6E28...

He is already getting R6E28.
R9GA001 is only the phone sw version of it.

the strange thing is, that he is still facing the problem we all had with the release of R5, as it has been solved with R6D..

i see. well, true. it's strange, as I am facing the same issue. SEUS wouldn't tell that my phone is already R6E28 and so update is not needed.

I have experienced the same yesterday. This bug seems to be back, at least for some of us, cause other users have reported that seus is running fine and that they get 'update not necessary' instead.

But there is actually nothing to help, if u have successfully updated your phone.

Just ignore it, install your stuff and enjoy.

Yep, had the same thing before! Same bug is back! Why only for some is beyond strange and cannot be accepted

So if one has the lastest, just keep it and forget about it!
