So I transfered 6 albums of MP4 files manually to my memory card from my Mac and installed it on my M600i. In music player I imported the sound files but it imported all 6 albums as one "unknown album" with all of the songs together

How do I add files directly to the memory card so that it imports as individual albums and not one lump??? I'm on a Mac, btw.

U must add the album names to your files using a mp3/mp4 tag editor prior transferring them to your phone.

No worries. I appreciate the help. I just think I found a great one for Mac. And it's free...MAX...

Wow. I've never seen anything more complicated than trying to add tags to MP4 music files. I found a program that works with MP3 files, but I can't seem to edit/add to MP4. Hmm.

You should try using iTunes to edit the ID tags of your M4A (and MP3) files and SyncMyPortable (http://www.SyncMyPortable.com) to transfer the iTunes stored music over to your phone. It works great! It can even do all the album art work set up for you as well as playlist set up, etc.
