Esato News

Nokia is offering to replace 46 million batteries for its mobile phones after reports of overheating while charging.

The problems are confined to BL-5C batteries made by Matsushita between December 2005 and November 2006.

Massive!

Sony's recall of 8 million laptop batteries cost an estimated $430 million dollars for example, so it isn't small.

I wonder how many different phones are affected.

I don't think web browing is intensive.

Video streaming is intensive as you have sound, graphics and data streaming all activated so I wouldn't expect your battery to get hot just browsing the web, well not unless you have the radio going too.
