Hi everyone,

I have a rather technical question:

I want to make my own " headset" with a normal microphone and headphone on my SE. I bought a spare connector and now I want to solder the connector.

Here's the pinout:

http://pinouts.ru/CellularPhones-P-W/se_k750i_pinout.shtml

Which pinouts I need for the headset. I was use to that the ground also was used for the - of the mic and oudio OUt. Now I see that that the mic got a minus and plus ?! Whats the deal about that?

Pin 4 + 5 are the speaker out pins??

Also I can remember that some pins are connected to each other otherwise the headset won't work. Anyone know if that still works like this on the Fast port connector?

i have seen a few diagrams that show whats what on the SE fast port, i have considered doing this myself in the past, i would be more inclined just to replace the ear buds from the Mic so that it can still be used for wireless convorsations, and this with some simple but careful soldering can be done fiarly easily.

were you going to bother with an in-line microphone?
