could it be that i am using the wrong opera version, or do you guys recomend some thing completly different?
managed to download 13mb in 3 seconds to my n95 from a bbc podcast, seems to take longer "proccessing" than it does to download web pages to my p1i?

The N95 has a better web browser for sure. It also has 'g' WLAN.

run a speedtest using dslreports.com\\mspeed to compare....
but there are a few things to consider....
cache
browser.. opera vs. safari
wifi type.. are you comparing B to B or B to G...
i'd say compare opera mini to opera mini on the phones to guage the performance.. cause the safari browser is from my experience a better browser...
