it's much faster and smoother compared to PocketPc
however i can't get my wifi to work.
any of you experienced with this?

Found this information after some searching for info.
"It is possible to install a custom version of Linux on the HTC Universal. But due to lack of cooperation by HTC (and most other smartphone/PPC manufacturers for that matter), drivers for various pieces of hardware are incomplete or non-existent. Nevertheless, this does open up a whole new world of open source software development to a very versatile device."
so looks like its unsupported, have a google around for some linux mobile forums etc...
good luck

only serious issue which hasn't been resolved is sound card drivers. (no sound means ... not much phone usability, but i don't mind)
i like this to be a linux internet handheld (wifi sniffer etc.)
many websites i've visited tell wifi is fully supported with this phone and linux.
xda-developers.com/wiki proved many information about this.
