> P1i GPRS email connection problem

Hi
I'm having a problem connecting my P1 phone to GPRS to download my emails. When I try I get an error message "The sending has failed because the account has errors in its server settings"
My ISP is BTInternet and I have downloaded the settings from my network provider O2 UK.
I think my email messaging is setup correctly because I can send/receive email messages when connected to WLAN.
Strangely I can also connect my Dell PDA to the P1 via bluetooth and hook up to the GPRS account using the dialup command *99***1# and then download emails to the PDA. This works fine but I would like to download the emails on the P1 (and sell the Dell!).
This would suggest the GPRS account is setup correctly? However, for some reason I cant connect Messaging and GPRS on the P1
