Hi everyone! First post. I got my P1i about a week ago and i am supersatisfied! It works perfectly, and now im waiting for my Martin fields screen protector:)
Anyway, i wanted to install a new theme, so i tried to download the m600 black theme from sonyericsson.com/fun site using mobile internet. But when i download it, it says that the file cannot be handled, how do i get themes downloaded and working on my P1?

This is how I do it with M600 or P990 themes:

- Open the theme with the SE Themes Creator (you can dl it here: http://developer.sonyericsson[....]&template=ps3&zone=ps)

- Obviously set the P1i Phone

These steps are useful to be sure to make the theme 100% compatible with the P1i and to look at the beaviour of the Theme in my phone. If needed I make some change to the look...

- Save the Theme

- upload it (.utz file) somewhere in the phone

- run it from the phone.

You will be asked to install... etc.

But, how do i get the .utz file to my phone. where should i put it, in the file manager, where?

I think anywhere you can reach it with the file browser of the phone.
For example I connect the phone in "Telephone mode", browse to the "Other" directory of the P1i, copy/paste the .utz file to it, run it from the phone and then i delete it.

Download it from the Sony website. When a message comes up on your phone that the file won't work etc just ignore that and carry on. The themes, photos and message alert tones etc will all be stored in the correct places on your phone automatically.

Thanks! This worked perfectly! I am now enjoying the beautiful Black theme from M600. It suits the P1i design like a charm...
