Now that the K800i can be accessed with Far manager, is there any way to change the icons in the main menu?

My K800 does not seem to work with xs++

Hi I heard that some mod menu have trouble. They dissapear when ppl press back button. I s this true? I am going to do mod myself but want to make sure it is OK before I do it. Thanks!

I've never heard of that issue before. If you are going to modify it, back up the original menu.ml first.

Indeed, that sometimes happens with full screen menus. However, the icons reappear when you move your joystick. It's not a big problem, just a little annoying.

So I can't use the full screen menu? What is the difference between full screen menu and not? How about backstreet rotary from topsony. Is it full screen or not?

I also would like to know the mechanism of menu mod. From what I read so far seems that we change menu.ml and all the pict of the old menu is still exist in the phone. So changing back to old just need to copy back the original menu.ml. Is that correct?

sure is. You can learn how to pimp your menu here http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=3716 but the menu's there are all for K750/W800. But it's the best thread for learning how to design your own menus.
