Hi all,
what is default action for multimedia button? I`m on R6E28 firmware.
Previously, when i`ve long pressed multimedia button, multimedia player was launched, showing radio, music, video and online options but playback wasn`t starting, wich was good. Yesterday I`ve flashed my p990i again, with the same firmware. Now with this same action performed and with identical setup (hardware keys in control panel) multimedia player launches with active playback, playing first song in a list, wich i don`t like.
I noticed one more thing: sound files from C\music\sound now aren`t shown in a list, but they were previously.
So wich behaviour is correct one? If previuos one, i`ll flash it again.

Go to Media Player, Music and select Preferences by taping top, then go to Resume Audio and select MANUAL. This will not start the music but give your mentioned selection options

but i will also not resume playback after a call. previously it was set to auto, it resumed playback after a call but didn`t start a song at the launch. how is it on your p990i - does it plays first song when started by holding multimedia button?

Hmmm,I am not seeing the difference either. I would really like mine to not start at the first song after I press the media button.

yes with mine its automatically playing when set to this. The only thing I was not able to change is it plays from the Tracks not from the List which sucks. I could not yet make it start playing from a list. It always starts with the tracks.
By the way, I have had Org. R6 and now I am using R5 (because more RAM).
