> HTC P3600 - BT headset music skips
Bookmark topic
I just paired my SonyEricsson HBH-DS970 with my P3600. When I am listening to music via Window Media Player, the first few songs play fine, then the song starts skipping as if the BT signal is going in an out. I power on and off the BT headset, it works fine for a while and then song skips again.
Does anyone experience this using a BT headset to stream music? Is there anything i need to configure on the P3600?
This is rather frustrating.

I have the same hands free that I use with a similar phone to yours.. HTC TyTN...
I've not had any problems with mine but some times there could be a problem with such devices.
I dont know if your familiar with xda developers but the have solutions to all your windows mobile problems and just a few days ago I saw a thread title which had the solution to your problem but cant find it right now..
Go to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ and Im sure you'll find the solution.. Mean while if I can find that thread I'll pm it to you.

i read this from another site saying this BT has irregular skippings. does anyone else experience this? if so, what is the work around?
*** review from another site ***
Bad points
One more problem is irregular skipping. The way of it can be different. It can not skip during 3 – 4 tracks, and then skips for several seconds. May be the cause of it is compatibility problem of GSplayer or WMP with the HBH-DS970. With Pocket Player there is no skipping, the playback is smooth and music resumes with no problem after the call is ended, but controls don't work yet. So, it's up to you to decide which player is better. Some users experience skipping only while listening from the web if the cellular signal quality is not good, or, when microwaves are interfering (for example, when using microwave oven) there can be some stuttering of playback. There is no buffering, so it makes things worse. But, again, it does not happens so frequently, as it may seem.
