I really can't get a good photo on my k800i for the life of me. Every photo that I have taken is washed out. I have tried multiple different settings, and can not achieve quality that I have seen others posted.

The only time I get anything remotely presentable is when I do post work in Photoshop.

Can someone recommend some photo tips or settings? I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

What do you mean by washed out? As in, blurry?
If that's the case, then you just haven't learned to use the auto-focus..

Have you tried the spot metering, see if that helps at all?

Try updating your phone's firmware via SEUS, maybe a later camera driver will help a bit.

Plus don't forget the obvious stuff lilke a dirty lens cover. if it a new phone the consider that it might be faulty playing around with the settings should yield better results.

Here are three pics that I have taken:

And those are outdoors. Frankly, I think the quality sucks. I dont know what I am doing incorrect.
