Can someone tell me the settings for Handbrake to squeeze a DVD to MPEG-4 or even better to AVC/H.264? I tried almost every configuration but the Videos won't play on the P1i...
The phone should play H.264 as its written in the user manual and in the White Paper.. but I'm not really sure about that.. has everyone sucess?

Well I've got some DIVX avi's that I've done previously, so will try those.
I use VisualHub to do my conversion, so will see what works.

some videos i encoded with h.264 in mp4 format with quicktime pro (7.x) were not viewable on my phone.
as much as i want to push h.264, i think the best compatibility still lies with divx or xvid

Try with Quicktime> export to 3G (option 3GPP2, Image size 320X240 QVGA, choose aspect ratio, set bitrate to 256). Then you'll get file with extension name.3g2. Just renaim this file with extension .3gp and it will work. Good luck!
