Assalamo alikum WARAHMATULLAHE wabarakatuho,
Dear readers , I am the asst. manager admin and marketing in an engineering based company. The company is providing SIM of a GPRS enabled telecommunication company to nearly every employee. What I need is help from some body to tell me that how can I trace my employees that where are they moving at some time by tricing or tracking there GPRS enabled device? Is there any website for it? which can trace them without charging money? or is there any software or any thing which can help me in pakistan only? please it's a task given to me by my seniors and I hope some nice karachiite will post me here or on my email a detailed and positive answer. waiting anxiously. We will do it with our employees permission and that too in only company hours, more over it is not violating their privacy as we dont want to see them but to pin point their place more over we as well need it for our drivers carrying very expensive engineering and industrial equipments in their vehicles as theft and looting is frequent in karachi.

Imo, whats the need of gprs enabled sims to track them.
There is only your mobile operator who can do the job(with or without gprs enabled sim).
But they would do, i have doubt. imo only your Government have the right to track them for their security reasons only. This is the straight away the case of
customer's privacy violation.
And about your Seniors-
They can say any thing to do whatever come in their EMPTY MIND

There is a service in the uk for tracking mobiles. It has to be agreed with the customer (this is the company not the user for a business who pays the mobile bill).

unless they know about the tracking and have agreed to this....
some companies use satellite tracking on company vehicles that carry expensive products....

Possible or not, personaly I dont think that this is apropreate. What if your employees are off duty. Are you planing on making them leave their handsets when they go home. I think this isnt a good idea. The only thing you can do that is mo proper is to give them walkie talkies and put these tracking devices in the company cars.
