9to5mac, has some spy shots for the new iPod! It has the same form factor as the iPhone with some notable exceptions.
Here are:
* Outside rim is black, not silver like the iPhone and more flush with the screen like the 5.5G iPods not rounded like iPhone
* No ear speaker or microphone for phoning
* Thicker - slightly
Things that are the same:
* OSX Embedded OS
* 480×320 screen
* Coverflow-enabled iPod application
* Single button home navigation
Things we wish we knew:
* WiFi? (This is the Capper)
* GPS?
* NAND RAM and/or 160GB Hard Drives configs?
* Cost? (Like it matters)
Now, we just have to wait for Apple to officially announce this product and then this product will be selling out everywhere this Christmas season.

I'd much rather have a network Walkman than an iPod.

@Lunion
Well i have just for the first time bought a dedicated MP3/video player and my choice was between the NW-AW805 or an iPod 80gb and having tried both the Sony felt like it would snap if you sneezed on it plus it had much less storage and the screen was no where near as good as the reviews claim either.
The build quality of what they call 5.5 generation iPods is much better as is the slighter lager and better and clearer screen plus i was very impressed with the great UI and for not a lot more money get 80gb as opposed to 8gb of storage which makes a huge difference on just what you can keep on the device.
I certainly feel i made the right choice even though this will be my first Apple product i am just no longer as big a Sony fan as i used to be as feel you pay to much for the Sony name and the quality just isn't as good as it used to be. Was very disappointed with my last Sony laptop that all the letters started fading off the keys and they machine seriously slowed down in just over a Year. IMO Sony now a days rely too much on their brand name and not on what they actually deliver.
