I am here contemplating putting up my P990i on eBay, putting some money together to get whatever is SE's best phone that is out by November. If it is the P1 then I might buy it however I am seriously weary of what happened with the P990 and the lost value.I also don't want somethnig that might be outdated by April of next year.
The best bluetooth device to replace my DS-970 headset also.
The question is then,what will be
's best phone in three to four months?

It all depends on what you want from a phone, what your priorities are in features - e.g. do you want a good camera? Walkman 2.0? Both? A replacement Smartphone for your P990i?
Imho there's no 'best' SE phone, just one that 'best' suits your needs. If you're looking for another smartphone then it would have to be the P1i as the 'best' like for like replacement SE for you.

I think P1 and W960 are out of the race as i feel it will have the same problems like in p990...increasing ram doesn't solve the uiq3 software issues.SE needs to sort out the uiq3 issues or develop an all new uiq4.
K850 because of its looks,5mpx cam,walkman 3...and since the rumors of optical zoom are are out,nokia will launch something...to counter that k850 with optical zoom will come and .... K850 prices will fall soon.
M00i...coz its pitted against iphone which already lost out of the race from non us market after the mobile review verdict...people only liked to play with it...not use it.So SE will launch something similar which is also user friendly.
P3i...SE will make sure that the uiq 3.5 or 4 or whatever is well tested and very stable before they launch it...coz if this phone fails,the SE P series=R.I.P

For me it's the T650i, design of it is absolutely gorgeous.
But i think everyone is going to choose the W960.
