So here's the deal. My friend just got her laptop back from a repair shop and part of the repair including a reinstall of XP. However, the guy has gone online and downloaded things like AVG and ZoneAlarm. Now, we're connecting it to my network, and whenever she opens IE7, it redirects her to this webpage about a company called FON. No matter what I set the homepage to.
I'm hoping someone here might know how to sort this, because I'm stumped. There's nothing unusual in the processes.
Cheers guys

Maybe the repair shop used a FON router and there are some cookies left now?

There are no cookies, its annoying, you can't navigate away from the page, it's locked onto it.
Cheers

sure its not the router that your connecting to, seems to be like a configuration page for the make of your router..if so you need to configure the internet before it will work

And while your at it, purchase a large lump of lead. Much like Firefox, it's out there and available to get, but is there any point to doing it?
