hi i tried to instal yahoo go on my k800i but the message show's that my k800i doesnt have the updated firmware, when i updated my fone it tells me that i already have the new firmware R1JG001.. where do i get the newer version? i already tried SEUS but it says i already have the updated firmware... help pls!!!

Is that a branded K800i? Some branded phones--also some certain CDA strings-- will never be updated higher than R1JG. Debrand it via wotanserver.

i dont know if my fone is branded im just a newbie here? besides wotan is not free i dont have credits for that hehe is thare another way to debrand my k800i? thanks for the reply aremaboy

If you are willing to do anything at your own risk, you can do a free flashing via phone XS++. Google a bit here in Modding or Flashing threads on Esato or www.sense.net. Unfortunately I don't like modding. Good luck.
