Ok now i have a prob with my p1i that bugs me!
for some reason sometimes i cannot send or receive sms
or call someone or be called, than i have to reboot the phone.
could this be hardware or software related? could it be incompatible software
old versions of swiss manager/agile messenger?
help plz

this problem occours when you don't switch your phone off for a long period of time,try rebooting once a day.

yes,it's a major problem with uiq phones they need to be ''restsrted'' once a day, also try switching off 3g if you don't use it and if you don't have good 3g coverge.

Well, phone is running for about 4 days now and have never noticed anything like the problem above. Have 3G off btw since I don't need it so perhaps that's the trick?

I have seen similar problems which were related to the SIM-Card. Here a bunch of people do have the problem with O2 Germany Sim-cards. If you have the chance to test the SIM of another provider for a day or so, you could find out if this is the problem.

i have other sims, will try to update firmware first, will not install 3d party software. if ok, will install them again. if i have problems will try other sim
