> New mobile phone for £8! Found it in Woolworths
Bookmark topic
Went into Woolworths to get something for my wife, and noticed they were doing the
Alcatel OT-E801 for £8 on Orange PAYG!
OK, it's a pretty basic phone, but for £8 you can't complain really! I was going to get one but they were out of stock, also out of stock in another large Woolworths I went into - and out of stock online too! I'll keep checking back as I might get one or two, would make good pressies, or maybe as a backup phone

I think that's pretty impressive for a new phone with colour screen!
Even if it's a bit sparse on features, a phone for £8 from a high street shop is very impressive!
It sounds odd, especially with me having my K800i, a W800i, K750i, Moto KRZR, 6230i, now a T610 (yay!) but I want one of these 8 quid phones!

I've used that phone.
PAINFULLY slow.
Sending, receiving, and writing a text takes ages.
