> w300i memory card

i apologize in advance for starting a new topic as i am sure there has to be a w300i thread on esato but i'm really desperate & impatient to get an answer, please help asap.
my query is as follows :
on the se site it says that the w300i can handle a m2 memory stick upto 1gb.
i have already bought a 2gb m2 memory stick. i can't return/swap it for a 1gb m2 memory stick. nor do i have the money now to buy an altogether new 1gb m2 memory stick.
the 2gb m2 memory stick works just fine with my w300i.
my worry is that if i continue using the 2gb m2 memory stick will it damage my phone?
i request all se gurus on esato to help me out at the earliest.

phones are capable of support memories bigger that
made them for. i mean, many ppl have tested big memories sticks and they work ok. the same for you. just try it.

yep...shouldnt to any damage to your phone, worst case scenario your phone will run a little slower than usual
