having problems with my pc
when i turn it on all its does is make a continous beebing noise and the fans start to spin then the noise and fan both stop for a few seconds then start doin the same again. this is all it does it doesn't start loading up xp
any one know what the propblem could be have check all the wiring and its fine.

Start by unplugging all peripherals except the keyboard, mouse and monitor. Do you get anything at all on the screen? If it'll let you go into BIOS, try loading optimised or failsafe defaults.
If not, it could be the motherboard as JC said, or it could be a faulty memory module, CPU or card. Is it one long continuous beep or broken up like morse code? Thing is, some motherboards (well, BIOS versions to be precise) use 'beepcodes' as a diagnostic tool. If you have your motherboard manual, it might list the beepcodes which will tell you what the problem is.
Other than that, it's a case of swapping all removable components one by one with known working components to find the problem. If that doesn't work, it is indeed the motherboard!
